Our Spring is located high upon a mountainside near CLIMAX, KY. At the turn of the century, the spring powered a water wheel that ground corn into meal. You're welcome to take a nice leisurely drive through beautiful countryside that will lead you to a babbling spring cascading down the mountain.

How We Protected Our Water
We blasted surrounding rock and dug back almost 30 feet into the side of the mountain, where the fresh water bubbles right out of the sandstone acquifer. We installed a 12" pipe from the source rock to an underground water box. The opening was then sealed with an 8" thick reinforced concrete wall and backfilled and seeded. The spring water is piped with an 8" pipe down to our loading area. All of this is done with gravity flow.
